Because of Kalyn's pending trespassing charge from the 58 hour sit-in at Senator Cory Gardner's office that ended in 30 hour arrest for 10 ADAPT activists, we are unable to tour through the 4 prisons and tribal lands as planned next week. TINY BOX deTOUR has ironically been planned for months and the band was excited to bring Youth On Record programming to 4 state prisons in Canon City and Pueblo while playing concerts and connecting with marginalized disabled Coloradans. The band was also scheduled to play in Durango to benefit the Southwest Independence center and throw an all ability dance party on Southern Ute Tribal Lands. Wheelchair Sports Camp and deTOUR is forced to postpone the remaining dates next week, but the DENVER PARTY IS STILL ON!!

WHEELCHAIR SPORTS CAMP + BABAH FLY COLLABORATE ON A SONG THAT EXPRESSES THE URGENCY OF THE NEW YORK AND CALIFORNIA PRESIDENTIAL PRIMARY ELECTIONS.  Despite the fact that the song "Annoying Oranges" was written over a year ago, it resonates stronger than ever today and they were compelled to release it around the important NY and CA primaries.  The song is a playful rant of concerns that reflect on the fever of this insane election cycle. Listen and enjoy!

We’re making the annual pilgrimage back to SXSW with the same ol’ boyfriends, but this time we’re playing a bunch more cities on the way!  This will be the 3rd trip messing with Texas with our bud B.Dolan, Rubedo is in for their 2nd year with us and as usual we’ll kick off the fun in Denver!  Rubedo will be playing as B.Dolan’s backing band, and Mr. Dolan has a brand new mixtape House of Bees 3 that you definitely need to see live!  We’ll have a brand new project out for ya too.  Trust in the little one and get stoopid with us!!

With a heavy heart and foggy head, the sports camp crew has been dealt with a huge loss.  The recent death of Ikey Owens has hit the music world and Denver community hard.  I was introduced to Ikey when he produced Rubedo’s first album Masssa Confusa.  I watched him play the Grammy’s a couple years ago with Jack White and remember being so proud to see my favorite band’s producer on such a big stage.  Come to find out, I actually saw Ikey perform with the Mars Volta before realizing it.  Ikey produced Rubedo’s second album Love Is The Answer, and was a frequent visitor to the mile high city.  I complimented him on the albums and mentioned how I’d love to build some day.  Shortly after, he called me and wanted to produce our first full length.  We spent a couple weekends at Dryer Plug Studios and knocked out 10 songs. So now, here we are sitting on this incredible project that is close to finished.  There are so, so many feels that words don’t scratch the surface.  We are honored and humbled to have worked with such a mastermind and are saddened that our time together was cut so short.  In those few recording sessions, we learned so much and watched in awe as  he freaked the funk out of every song.  We send love to the Owens family, the Rubedo family, and all the other musicians who were lucky enough to spend some time with him.  I have no clue as to when this album will be released, but I can tell you it’ll be titled No Big Deal, and we plan to finish it as he planned.

Super excited to celebrate Colorado Public Radio’s 3 year old station OpenAir 1340am!! They have held our friends and us down since day one.  This is a killer, killer lineup and it’s at the Oriental Theatre which is the last independently owned theater in this gentrified town.
