WSC + Gaelynn Lea in Ann Arbor

As part of the 2nd annual Michigan Arts Festival, the U-M Arts Initiative, with partners The Ark, Booksweet, and the Disability Network Washtenaw Monroe Livingston, will offer a free concert and discussion by artists Wheelchair Sports Camp & Gaelynn Lea.

The event will take place from approx. 1-3pm; doors at 12pm. A free livestream will also be available on The Ark's YouTube Channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@theark2544.

After the concert, Booksweet will offer sales of Gaelynn Lea's 2026 memoir, IT WASN’T MEANT TO BE PERFECT. The artists will be present for a signing.

Masks are welcome/encouraged.

The Ark is fully accessible to those with disabilities and works to accommodate anyone with special seating needs. The listening room is located on the second floor and is wheelchair accessible by elevator, which is located just behind the box office, straight back from the main entrance.
